Running a farm takes a lot of power, especially during the hot summer months when irrigation pumps and cooling systems have to run non-stop. To help keep these rising electricity expenses under control, we recently installed a solar panel system for a farm in our local area.
We mounted the panels on the roofs of the farm's existing sheds and outbuildings, allowing the business to generate its own electricity right where it is used. This setup helps lower their monthly bills from the grid and gives the farm some protection against future price hikes.
